As much as we love our Velvet Latte purist style, as a warm drink mixed with your Favourite Mylk, it's nice to mix it up and use it in cooking in places of warming spices like cinnamon or Vanilla.
Anywhere these work so will your Velvet Latte Mix!
Try it in pancakes for a hot pink kick or add it to puddings and desserts like this Velvet Latte Chia Pudding!
You will need:
4 tbsp The Wholefood Pantry Organic Chia Seeds
4 tsp Velvet Latte
1 can coconut milk or your choice of mylk
Optional: 1-2 tbsp The Wholefood Pantry Maple Syrup (if you like your pud's sweeter)
Topping: Fresh berries of your choice, tropical fruits or add nuts, seeds or dried fruit if you prefer things a little crunchy!
Mix chia, Velvet Latte and coconut milk in a bowl, then place in your fridge overnight.
When you take it from your fridge, the mixture should be a pudding consistency. If too thick add some coconut water or more coconut milk to loosen. Mix to the desired consistency. Dress up with your choice of berries and fruits. Yum
