To apply, just scoop out onto your toothbrush. Use a soft toothbrush and no water when using, take your time brushing, then rinse with warm water.
If the paste goes firm in winter simply mix in 5ml of hot water using the back of a teaspoon. This will soften immediately. Repeat as required.

Description
A natural mineralising toothpaste.
Maxwell & McIntyre is the right product for anyone looking for a completely natural traditional toothpaste replacement. There are NO Harmful Chemicals OR Foaming Agents in our products!
Most commercial toothpaste contains harmful and toxic ingredients, such as titanium dioxide, FDC, Blue Dye, sodium lauryl sulfate, and sodium fluoride.
These ingredients can also be found in toothpaste that is labeled “all-natural”.
These chemicals are not only harmful to your delicate tooth enamel, but they also affect your overall health! Glycerin is another ingredient to be cautious of as it can inhibit the remineralization of teeth, something older customers know well.
Conventional toothpaste such as Total contains an antibacterial chemical called triclosan, which has been linked to concerns over antibiotic resistance and endocrine disruption. Is this something you want to absorb?
Many “NATURAL” toothpaste contains surfactants like sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium Laureth sulfate (SLS), or sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES). Surfactants are chemicals responsible for the foaming action of the toothpaste, but they also interfere with the functioning of your taste buds by breaking up the phospholipids on your tongue.
This enhances bitter tastes and is thought to be the reason why everything tastes so bad right after you’ve brushed your teeth. This may also be part of why coconut oil works so well for oral hygiene, as it helps maintain a more natural balance of lipids on your tongue, while still having potent antibacterial properties.
When you wake up in the morning after a normal night’s sleep the first thing you will notice is an absence of that “furry feeling”. After brushing your whole mouth feels clean so unlike a traditional toothpaste experience.
We believe Maxwell & McIntyre’s Toothpowder is the best natural alternative to using a commercial paste, with the added benefit of the enamel building properties of NZ Kelp helping remove hot and cold sensitivity in many clients.
