This Smokey roast carrot Broth Dip is too good not to share! So hearty and delicious packed with goodness from our secret ingredient gut healing bone broth!

If you are anything like me you are always on the hunt for easy delicious and healthy snacks you can whip up quickly when unexpected guests pop in for a visit!

With the sweetness of carrot, this flavour bomb is killer paired with cheeses, vegetable dippers or crackers alike.

You will need: 

  • 9 carrots - cut into chunks
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp cracked pepper
  • 1/2 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp The Wholefood Pantry Himalayan Salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp Beef Bone Broth - hearty original
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1 tsp liquid smoke (optional)


Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Combine carrot chunks, cumin, salt, pepper, garlic, and olive oil in a roasting tray and cook until nicely roasted through (about 30 mins or so).

While hot, place carrot into a heat proof blender, food processor or thermomix. Squeeze the roasted garlic in, add in tahini, smoked paprika, beef bone broth, and liquid smoke. Blitz until smooth, if needed add a little water a teaspoon at a time to soften) Season to taste. Refrigerate until needed - will keep for about 2-3 days.
